Graduation

Reminder: Seniors must complete all 23 credit hours and the Capstone requirements by 3:30 pm on their last day of classes in order to participate in graduation ceremonies. This includes all online credit recovery classes like Edgenuity.

Class of 2026 Graduation: May 21, 2026, 9:00 am, North Area Athletic Complex. Graduates should arrive by 8:00 am.

Seniors will not receive their caps/gowns or diplomas until all fines are paid. You can check your student's fines and fees online at the link below (you will need their last name and student number) or you can call our Financial Office at 303-982-0117.

Caps, Gowns and other Graduation Items

Caps and gowns for graduation are ordered through Jostens. Prices do go up as the year goes on, so we encourage families to order early. Refunds are available all the way up to graduation day if necessary. Caps and gowns are shipped to the school and distributed at Senior Checkout in May.

Requirements to Participate

Students must complete all academic requirements by the last day of classes including online credit recovery like Edgenuity.
Students must clear all fees and fines before graduation rehearsal on May 20, 2026. You can check your student's fees/fines here or call our financial office at 303-982-0117. We cannot accept payment by check for senior fines after spring break (March 31).
Students must wear a red cap and gown. These can be purchased from Jostens here.
Students must attend graduation rehearsal
Students must have no disciplinary actions. Any out-of-school suspension will require a family meeting to discuss participation.

Ceremony Details

No tickets are required to attend the ceremony. Parking is free and plentiful at the NAAC. Students must find their own ride to graduation and should plan to arrive one hour before the start of the event. There is no place for students to store items like bags or purses so anything that cannot be carried in a pocket should be left in a car or with family.

Simultaneous translation is available during the ceremony. If you require translation for a language other than Spanish, please contact the Arvada HS main office at 303-982-0162 as soon as possible.
