New Items:

• 🍁There will be no school on October 12th or 13th. Enjoy the Fall Break!
• Please join us for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Oct. 8. You can meet your student's teachers and other AHS staff between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. No appointments are necessary. During conferences, parents of 12th graders will have the opportunity to meet with a College Financial Aid Rep to get 1:1 help to fill out the  FAFSA. It is a drop-in session in the back of counseling.
• Invite your friends and neighbors with young children to our Trick-or-Treat Street on Oct. 30 from 5:00-7:00. It's always a fun community night where pre-school and elementary aged kids can wear costumes and collect treats in our hallways. We can also always use donations of candy to hand out.

Reminders:

• ‼️Deadline this Friday - 11th Grade Students and Families:
  • 11th graders have the opportunity to take the optional fall PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test on October 27 during the school day.
  • To participate, students must sign up using this link by October 9th. Students who sign up will go through the registration and set up process during an Academy Time session prior to Oct. 27.

• We are now in the middle of the October Count window when our per student funding is computed. During the period of September 24 through October 8 it is especially important that a guardian call our attendance line if a student must be absent.  The phone number is 303-982-0111 and you can leave a message in English or Spanish.
• Senior Photos can be submitted for free until October 30. After Oct. 30, there will be a $15 fee to submit a photo. ALL photos must be sent in by November 18 in order to be included in the book. For more information, see the Yearbook Webpage.
• On Thursday, October 15ᵗʰ, 2026, Jeffco Public Schools is hosting a district-wide  Career Expo for 10ᵗʰ grade  students at  the Jeffco Stadium and we will take all Arvada High School 10ᵗʰ graders. Students will leave school at 9:15 and return at 12:15. If you do not want your 10th grade student to participate, email jmark@jeffco.k12.co.us.
