This quick, 15-minute process ensures your school has current contact information, signed agreements, and transportation or meal preferences. See this webpage for all the details.
  • The Student Benefits Application is now open. While meals continue to be free for all students, completing this application allows us to waive fees for athletics, activities, busing, elective classes, testing and more. This webpage has links and more information.
  • Students who want to play a fall sport should register now. Fall sports include football, boys soccer, cross country, softball, and volleyball. Practices start August 10. Students will need a sports physical in order to participate. This year we will offer sports physicals for free at the school on Aug. 12 from 10:00am until 2:00 pm. Sign up for physicals here.
  • We are excited to welcome our new 9th graders to orientation on August 19th. 9th graders should arrive between 7:45 and 8:30 am. Orientation will finish with a free BBQ lunch. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm.
  • Students in the Empowerment Academy start classes on August 19th at 9:00 am. All other students start classes on August 20th at 8:15 am. We can't wait to see all the smiling faces!
  • Thursday. August 20th, Wednesday August 26 and Thursday August 27 will be 7-period days, not Block days. Classes on those days will start at 8:15 am. We will start having Block days on Wednesdays and Thursdays in September.
  • Class schedules will be available to students and parents through the Infinite Campus portal on August 13. Any requests for schedule changes must be submitted to counselors by the end of the day on Friday, August 21. Celebrating Our Bulldogs Through the 5-Star Rewards Program

At Arvada High School, our mission is to ensure that every Bulldog has a voice, feels a sense of belonging, and has the opportunity to learn and thrive in a safe, supportive environment. One way we bring that mission to life is by recognizing the positive choices our students make each day through our 5-Star Rewards Program.

Our staff members use the 5-Star platform to celebrate students who demonstrate our HEART values:
  • Honesty

  • Empathy

  • Accountability

  • Respect

  • Trust

Whether it's helping a classmate, taking responsibility for a mistake, showing kindness, or treating others with respect, these everyday actions help create the welcoming school community we want every student to experience.

Students can also earn points by simply having and showing their school ID when asked. Carrying a school ID is an important part of keeping our campus safe and ensuring that everyone in our building is authorized to be here.

Students can redeem their points in our school store for a variety of fun rewards, including school spirit gear, snacks, games, fidgets, and other exciting items. Thanks to the incredible generosity of community partners such as Colorado Rapids, Denver Summit, Patrick Surtain II, University of Denver, Colorado Mesa University, and University of Colorado Boulder, our students have even more exciting rewards to work toward this year.

Families play an important role in helping students develop these values. We encourage you to talk with your student about what it means to demonstrate honesty, empathy, accountability, respect, and trust at school and in the community. By working together to recognize and reinforce these positive behaviors, we can continue building a school where every Bulldog feels valued, connected, and inspired to do their best.

Thank you for partnering with us as we celebrate the everyday choices that make Arvada High School such a special place to learn and grow. Go Bulldogs!
